How I Make Your Graduation Stoles
I wasn't excited about my graduation. I decorated my cap to hype myself up for the moment. Fast-forward a year, and several of my friends, including my brother, were preparing to walk. One particular friend asked if I could make her a custom graduation stole, which opened the door. When it comes to crafts, I'm always up for a challenge, and that's how the stole-making journey began.
Every graduation stole tells a story—and I love helping you tell yours. My process starts with a sketch, often based on ideas clients send me or create using my design template. From there, I make a digital mockup in Canva to ensure alignment. Once the design is approved, I prep the stole and print out the images, quotes, etc. Each stole is made using sublimation ink, and I carefully press every detail—always mirroring the design so it lies right when worn.
And the result? A beautiful, one-of-a-kind piece that reflects your academic or college journey. Whether it includes Greek letters, cultural symbols, or family names, each graduation stole is a celebration of you—and a reminder of how far God has brought you this past academic year.
